WANTED BY DOC IN YAKIMA COUNTY September 26, 2014 -- This inmate in Yakima County is living up to his street name -- "Bird" – by flying the coop at a corrections facility and jumping a fence. After starting his hard time in prison, Anthony “Bird” Castro was given a break to move to a work release facility. Washington State Department of Corrections officers say he did something wrong though. And when faced with the punishment of going back to prison, "Bird" decided to take flight. "He broke a rule at the facility,” said Emily Isaacs of the Department of Corrections. “They put him in a room. Told him to wait so he could speak with an officer. Instead, as soon as the staff walked away, he went to his dorm, got his coat and just walked right out of the facility, went to a back gate, climbed the fence, and disappeared."
