MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- Video of a "social experiment" is gaining national attention and sparking an intense debate.
The video shows a woman walking down the street in Myrtle Beach while wearing “stripper garb” and a reflective mask, and how people respond to the unusual sight.
The uploader wrote this in the video's description:
According to WMBF, the filmmakers never expected what ultimately happened at the 10:20 mark in the video.

Some say the video is nothing more than a stunt. It already has more than half a million views.
Filmmaker Alli Coates hopes viewers can learn from the video.
"Whether it's race or gender, or class or anything like that, we just had no intention going into this video about any of those things," Coates told WMBF. "It just inherently happened because that's how real society works."
