FUGITIVE CAPTURED May 21, 2015 -- Washington's Most Wanted viewer tips called into Crime Stoppers identified this bank robber for Edmonds and Mill Creek Police! The 37-year old Lynnwood man, believed to be responsible for robbing a bank within each jurisdiction and dubbed the "Bundles of Cash Bandit' in Mill Creek was arrested Thursday morning. The Mill Creek robbery occurred on April 1, 2015 at the Union Bank. The second robbery occurred on May 13, 2015 at the Banner Bank in Edmonds. Police investigators were led to the suspect by an anonymous tip submitted to Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound. When investigators followed up on that information, they were able to positively identify the suspect and develop further leads which led to his arrest. The arrest occurred outside his residence in the 16400 block of the Alderwood Mall Parkway. He was taken into custody without incident. The vehicle that was believed to have been used in both crimes was located and impounded pending further investigation. He was booked into the Snohomish County Jail on two counts of First Degree Robbery (Edmonds/Mill Creek). He is Washington's Most Wanted capture #626.
WANTED IN MILL CREEK -- Police in Mill Creek need your help finding this bank robber on the run. Detectives say he hit the Union Bank at the corner of 9th Ave. SE and 164th St. SE on April 1st by walking up to the teller and handing them a note demanding money. In one of the photos you can see him walking out with his hands full of bills so we're dubbing him the ‘Bundles of cash Bandit.’ It's not clear whether he was armed but police say they don't want to take any chances. “No weapons were implied yet we have to assume that somebody may be prepared, they might be aware that certainly this will garner a police response, the bank’s going to set off their alarms, so we anticipate that he may have had a weapon or may have been prepared to try and resist if he was contacted by the police, we have to assume the worst unfortunately in that type of circumstance,” says Mill Creek Ofc.
