Auburn PD search for deadly shooting suspect
Police investigating the execution-style killing of a 38-year-old woman in Auburn say they may have a potential suspect.
AUBURN, Wash. - Police are actively looking for a suspect after a woman was shot and killed in Auburn Wednesday morning.
According to the Auburn Police Department (APD), at around 4:30 a.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting outside the Greentree Condominiums in the 2600 block of 18th Pl. SE. This area is just north of the Muckleshoot Casino Resort parking garage.

When police arrived, they found a 38-year-old woman with at least one gunshot wound. First responders tried to revive her, but she was declared dead at the scene.
Auburn Police said she was shot at close range, execution style.
FOX 13’s Taylor Winkel spoke to a neighbor who says her roommate is the one who called 911. She said that early Wednesday morning, she heard a woman screaming, followed by three gunshots and a woman saying, 'He shot me.'
Police later identified the suspect as 21-year-old Marketha McCoy. He is 5'7" and weighs 180 pounds. He has cut his hair since his DOL photo was taken.
A warrant for second-degree murder has been issued for McCoy.
