SEATTLE -- Marshawn Lynch fulfilled all his media obligations prior to and after the Super Bowl, and he will not be fined, multiple sources are reporting.
Furthermore, a Beast Mode style hat Lynch wore during media appearances did not violate any league rules because it was given to him by an NFL licensee.
Tom Pelissero of USA Today was one of the first to tweet that Lynch wouldn't be fined.
Speculation was abound whether or not any of Lynch's actions prior to the Seahawks Super Bowl XLIX 28-24 loss to the New England Patriots would result in a fine. Lynch sat in front of the media during Media Day, but answered questions only with the response "I'm just here so I won't get fined."

Many also wondered whether a hat the star running back wore during his press conferences would incur him a fine. According to ESPN, the league reviewed whether it permissible because of branding. They evidently decided it was OK.
Lynch was dinged $100,000 for not talking to the media during the 2014 season, and been hit numerous times for “obscene gestures” allegedly performed during touchdown celebrations.
