City of Kent settles with former assistant police chief over calls for resignation over Nazi insignia
The city of Kent will pay former assistant police chief Derek Kammerzell $1.5 million to 'purchase his resignation.' The public called for Kammerzell to resign in 2020 when photos surfaced of a Nazi rank insignia on his office door and for joking about the Holocaust.
