'Detective Cookie Chess Park' brings community together
For the past 16 years, Seattle Police Detective Denise "Cookie" Bouldin has run a chess club for kids in the Rainier Beach area. To honor her work and keep the momentum going, the community has started work on the "Detective Cookie Chess Park," which aims to bring neighbors and kids together.
