Driftwood restaurant on Alki Beach showcases Washington's bountiful fresh ingredients
The Driftwood restaurant, which opened in January on Alki Beach, takes inspiration from the surrounding region and looks to showcase Washington's bountiful connection from mountain to sound. Owner and Executive Chef Dan Mallahan has partnered with farmers in the Deschutes, Green and Snohomish River valleys, as well as Vashon and the San Juan islands to grow fresh seasonal ingredients exclusively for the restaurant.
