Demands for Trump to restore Federal School Safety Board

There were 330 school shootings in the United States in 2024, according to the K-12 School Shooting Database. Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer is urging the newly confirmed U.S. Homeland Security Secretary to reinstate a school safety board with the goal of protecting kids in school.
