The Spotlight: Shattered in a Crosswalk
A family desperate to find a missing 21-year-old autistic man wants his case investigated as crime but a local Sheriff refused their request citing a lack of evidence of foul play. Now, the national Autism Foundation says this case has been mishandled from the start. Plus, a convicted felon who touted his re-entry skills is set to be released from prison later this year for the third time. He was first released in 2017 after then Governor Jay Inslee commuted his sentence for two counts of Assault 1st Degree. And, a $21,000 cash reward is being offered for the tip that identifies a hit and run motorcycle rider who killed a pedestrian and seriously injured her husband. Those stories and bodycam video shows a police officer flashing his badge and lying to deputies when his wife was arrested for assault.
