Inmate escapes Mason County jail work crew

Mason County deputies are searching for 49-year-old Domingo Mendoza, an inmate who escaped from a jail road litter cleanup crew around 11:30 a.m. today. Mendoza, a jail trustee, was last seen wearing a Mason County Jail t-shirt, blue jeans, and an orange hat; authorities advise the public not to approach him and to call 911 if he's sighted.
