Seattle City Council fills vacant District 5 seat with Debora Juarez
Debora Juarez has been appointed to fill the vacant District 5 seat on the Seattle City Council, a position she previously held from 2016 to 2023. Juarez will represent North Seattle until November 2026, when voters will elect a permanent replacement for Kathy Moore, who resigned citing health reasons.
