Texas House approves redistricting maps, California might do something similar

Texas is on track to gain five more Republican seats in Congress in next year's midterm elections after a two-week standoff with Democrats. In response, California Governor Gavin Newsom is considering doing the same thing to gain five Democratic seats to sway the balance of power.
