Olympia author chronicles 140 years of women?s soccer in new book

As women?s sports gain record viewership and revenue, local author Heidi Smith is shining a light on the game?s long history. Smith, who lives in Yelm and has 27 years of soccer experience, has released Play On: From Adversity to Advantage Through 140 Years of Women?s Soccer.
