Great ShakeOut reminds Washingtonians to practice earthquake safety

Washington residents participated in the annual Great ShakeOut earthquake drill Thursday, practicing the protective action of "drop, cover, and hold on." The drill, conducted with Seattle Public Schools and the state's Emergency Management division, highlighted the importance of the ShakeAlert early warning system.
