Rare fin whale grounds in shallow Skagit Valley tidal flats
A massive fin whale stranded in a Skagit Valley beach's shallow tidal flats on Monday night. Known as the Greyhound of the sea, this rare creature had been spotted in Puget Sound since September. Marine experts are now performing a necropsy to determine exactly what caused the tragedy.
