Ballard business burglarized, owner says lack of response worsened losses

A Ballard business owner says a burglar spent more than an hour inside her shop, stealing thousands of dollars in equipment after a break-in through a neighboring space. She is now calling for changes to Seattle police response policies as she covers repair costs out of pocket.
