Snohomish County declares measles outbreak after three children test positive

Snohomish County health officials declared a measles outbreak after three elementary school-aged children tested positive, exposing two Mukilteo School District schools and a Swedish campus in Mill Creek. All cases were linked to an unvaccinated family visiting from South Carolina, where the nation’s largest active measles outbreak is ongoing.
