Northbound SR 99 bridge in Seattle to close for repairs this week

All northbound lanes of Seattle’s SR 99 First Avenue Bridge will close from 5 a.m. Tuesday through 8 p.m. Wednesday as crews install steel plates to stabilize the structure. WSDOT says the work follows recent lane closures due to cracks in the bridge and comes ahead of larger repairs planned later this year.
