The Spotlight: Decades-long quest for justice

The unsanitary side of Washington's culinary scene. Owners of legal food stands are calling for local cities and King County to crack down on the rise in unpermitted food vendors. It is a growing problem with 55 percent of them in Seattle City Limits. The pop-up stands have no permit from Public Health Seattle-King County showing they have been inspected, no refrigeration, hot water or handwashing facilities creating a risk for food poisoning. Plus, an accused killer has been caught but the victim's mother still doesn't know where his body was hidden. And, a cold case murder solved because the victim's two daughters refused to give up on justice.
