On the Sidelines S2E2: Seahawks up for sale, Sounders and Mariners previews
The Seahawks have officially been put up for sale as was mandated by the will of former owner Paul Allen. What a potential sale could look like, how much the team could go for, and how much it will impact the team on the field. Ethan and D Jack spend some time breaking down the hire of Brian Fleury from the Niners to be Mike Macdonald's new offensive coordinator and then go into naming their end-of-season awards for the Hawks. The guys hand out awards for team MVP, specialist of the year, newcomer of the year, and much more. Ethan then welcomes Niko Moreno of Pulso Sports and Sounder at Heart onto the show to preview the upcoming Sounders season kicking off this weekend. Niko goes over the offseason moves, headlined by Obed Vargas' expensive transfer to Spain, and gives his prediction for the 2026 season. Ethan and D Jack finish the show talking Mariners with Spring Training now officially underway. Ethan explains why he loves the Brendan Donovan acquisition and gives his grade for the offseason. The pair discuss their expectations for the season including a look around at the competition in the American League West.
