Covington native among 6 airmen killed in Iraq plane crash
The Department of Defense has identified 31-year-old Capt. Ariana Savino of Covington as one of six U.S. service members killed when a KC-135 refueling aircraft crashed in western Iraq. Savino, a Kentwood High School graduate, was assigned to the 121st Air Refueling Wing in Ohio.
