CAPTURED: Accused child abuser Alejandro Ayala arrested in Benton City thanks to viewer tip


CAPTURED  --  Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers says a tip they received from a Washington's Most Wanted viewer led to the arrest of Alejandro Ayala. The Benton County Gang Unit, Benton County Sheriff's Deputies, DOC Community Corrections Officers and U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force members arrested 'Little Gumby' in a Benton City neighborhood.  "That is a great show of force and teamwork by 4 divisions of Law Enforcement involved. It just does not get any better than that in getting bad people off the streets as good people called this in," said DOC Officer Ross Esparza.  Ayala is WMW Capture #824.

"Little Gumby" is accused of hurting a child.

His real name is Alejandro Ayala.

He's wanted in Benton County for child assault and by the Department of Corrections for breaking probation on a protection order violation he was sentenced to three years in prison for.

DOC officers call him a serious risk to the community.

Along with a slew of assaults and domestic violence crimes, Ayala's also been busted for multiple burglaries, drugs, and stealing a firearm.

He’s 25 years old, 5’6” and weighs 150 pounds.

He also goes by ‘Alex.’
