1 dead, 1 hurt after Green Lake hit-and-run
One person was killed and one person was injured after a hit-and-run in Green Lake.
SEATTLE - Seattle police are investigating a deadly hit-and-run early Monday morning in the Green Lake neighborhood.
Before 2 a.m., police said witnesses called 911 to report they saw a driver of a white F-150 hit two people in the 8000 block of Corliss Avenue North and drive away from the scene without stopping.
The pick-up truck was last seen driving eastbound on North 80th Street.
When officers arrived, they found a 38-year-old man dead at the scene and a 17-year-old boy with significant injuries.
The teen was taken to Harborview Medical Center.
Officers found a rideshare scooter near the scene but they have not determined if it was used by anyone involved in the crash.
