12-year-old boy arrested in connection with Seattle carport fire
SEATTLE -- A 12-year-old boy was arrested Thursday for allegedly setting fire to a carport in the Magnolia neighborhood that damaged a garage and three cars, police said.

The fire occurred at 2827 22nd Ave. W.
The Seattle Fire Department estimated damage at $30,000 to the three cars, carport, fence and trees.
Seattle police arson and bomb detectives arrested the boy. It wasn’t immediately disclosed what the motive might have been.
