Crane falls onto building in Everett, WA injuring two workers
EVERETT, Wash. - An investigation is underway after a construction crane fell onto the side of a building in Everett on Thursday.

What we know:
At around 10:42 a.m., the Everett Fire Department (EFD) reported that crews were responding to a crane that had fallen onto a building at the Everett Mall. The area of the building where the incident happened is currently under construction.
Two construction workers were injured, with one being taken to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

By 11:11 a.m., the EFD reported that crews had brought in another crane to lift the tipped crane off the building. Building engineers were also on-site to assess the damage.
What's next:
About two hours later, the EFD cleared the scene and handed it over to the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries, which will lead the investigation.
