LACEY, Wash. -- A crash involving three semi trucks and a box truck blocked all lanes of southbound Interstate 5 for hours Wednesday afternoon in Lacey.
Multiple people were injured in the crash, the Washington State Patrol said. Though the injuries were originally listed as serious, they were later downgraded.
The Washington State Department of Transportation tweeted about the crash around 2:45 p.m. At 8:10 p.m., one lane was opened to traffic.
The roadway was completely clear by 8:30 p.m.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
