Fire engulfs Kent home
A family escaped a house fire early Monday morning.
KENT, Wash. - Fire officials are determining what caused a house fire early Monday morning in Kent.
Puget Sound fire crews responded to a report of a residential fire off near 108th Avenue Southeast and Southeast 273rd Street.
Officials said a smoke alarm alerted a person inside the home and they were able to get family members out of the house.
Firefighters extinguished the fire in about 50 minutes.
It's known what caused the fire.
