The Bellevue Fire Department responded to a fire at the Central Park East Apartments, near the Crossroads Mall.
BELLEVUE, Wash. - The Bellevue Fire Department responded to a fire at the Central Park East Apartments, near the Crossroads Mall.
Crews reported the fire at 152nd Ave NE and NE 16th St. around 3 p.m. on Tuesday.
One person had to be rescued from the third floor. Firefighters said the rescue went "swiftly."
According to the Red Cross, about 56 units were affected. It's unclear how many people within those units were affected.
It's also unclear how many of those units are inhabitable.
No word yet on a cause.
