SEATTLE - Seattle police are investigating a shooting that left a man critically injured overnight.

Investigators responded before 1 a.m. Thursday to reports of a shooting near Third Avenue and Union Street.

Seattle fire officials said a 39-year-old man was taken to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition.

Seattle police have not released information on a suspect or what led up to the shooting.

The investigation remains ongoing.
