More details coming on $15 minimum wage in Seattle?



SEATTLE -- The countdown is winding down to find out more about newly elected Seattle City Councilor member Kshama Sawant's plan to bring a $15 minimum wage to the city.

Sawant is a socialist who was elected to the city council in November. She ran on a campaign promise of fighting to enact the $15 minimum wage, similar to what voters just passed in Sea-Tac.

Her website, 15now.org has a countdown to noon on January 2nd, when it will likely release new details. The countdown is scheduled to end at noon. We will have an update on this story when the countdown is finished.
