A husband and wife in Grays Harbor County are presumed dead after deputies responded to a domestic violence call Monday night that ended with multiple explosions inside a home and shots fired at deputies. 

The mother of a murdered 10-year-old is speaking out on about a longtime dispute centered around a banner about the unsolved kidnapping and murder of Lindsey Baum.

The mother of Lindsey Baum is calling for more searches of the wooded area of Kittitas County where hunters found a small piece of her 10-year-old daughter’s skull. The fragment was discovered in 2017 more than 100 miles away from where the 10-year-old was kidnapped in 2009 from her hometown of McCleary.

A female humpback whale found beached in Ocean Shores, Washington, Monday appears to have died after suffering blunt force trauma consistent with a ship strike, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

MONTESANO, Wash. -- Two people died and two others were injured when their vehicle crashed into a snow plow that had taken a U-turn in Grays Harbor County.The Washington State Patrol says about 2:50 a.m. Sunday, two vehicles were westbound on US 12 when one of the vehicles, a snow plow dump truck, took a U-turn.
