Honoring those who served our country means getting to know the person behind the name on the wall
When Steve Bourdage passed away in March, his family looked for the perfect way to honor his legacy. How could they sum up such a tremendous life of service? After all, markers at Tahoma National Cemetery allow for just a short message of remembrance. They ended up selecting the title of a 1989 song by the Statler Brothers "More than a name on a wall." Today, that inscription on Steve's marker at Tahoma is a reminder of the many stories of those who rest there. Steve's daughter, Angie, joined "Q13 News This Morning" to share more about her father's life and service.
