If I move, do I need to update my driver's license with the new address?
Q: After I've notified the Department of Licensing that I have a new address, can I be ticketed by police if I don't get a new driver's license with the new address on it? -- TimA: "Tim, if you're going to get a new driver's license and you're going to change your address it has to be on the license so the officer knows what it is and the courts know what it is, because you don't get a driver's license without an address on it, so you're going to have to have some address on it and it needs to be a correct address, so the answer is, 'Yes', you have to have an address on your driver's license." -- Pierce County Det. Ed Troyer
