19-year-old killed after crashing into semi-truck near Oregon border
WALLA WALLA COUNTY, Wash. - A teenager was killed after crashing into a semi truck south of Tri-Cities.
Washington State Patrol says a 19-year-old was driving westbound on U.S. 730, approaching the Washington-Oregon border. A semi truck driver was coming up the other way when the teen crossed over the center line and hit him.
The truck driver was not injured, but the double trailers he was carrying were totaled.
WSP is still investigating this incident and say it is unknown if drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts.
