Raccoon! Spooked neighbor crashes into house
SEATTLE -- A woman spooked by an animal crashed into the side of a Montlake neighborhood home early Tuesday.
According to police, a woman living in the 2400 block of 24th Avenue East in Seattle was frightened by an animal -- possibly a raccoon -- and reversed into her neighbors' property around 1 a.m. The women crashed through a portion of her neighbor's fence before slamming into the home. The couple living in the home said they woke up to a loud bang.
No injuries were reported in the incident. The woman was initially detained by police but later let go.
The cost of damage was unknown Tuesday morning.
