T&T Supermarket to expand in WA with 2nd location coming to Lynnwood
LYNNWOOD, Wash. - After a wildly successful debut in Bellevue, T&T Supermarket, the largest Asian grocery chain in Canada, is expanding its footprint in Washington state.
A second store is planned to hit Lynnwood, tentatively scheduled to open in summer 2025, according to Gigi Lam, marketing specialist for T&T Supermarket.
The Lynnwood location will follow the Bellevue store, which opened its doors on Dec. 5, at Factoria Mall. At 76,000 square feet, the Bellevue store is Washington’s largest Asian supermarket and T&T’s first U.S. location.
Bellevue store highlights
Since opening, the Bellevue T&T Supermarket has drawn thousands of visitors daily, with some traveling from as far as Portland. The grand opening featured cultural performances, including a traditional lion dance, Japanese Taiko drum and a sushi dragon show.
Known for its diverse offerings, the Bellevue store has quickly become a favorite for its:
- Live seafood aquarium: Customers can handpick live lobsters, Dungeness crabs, and geoduck clams or select fish for custom cuts.
- Prepared foods and deli: Highlights include the popular Papa Crispy Chicken, Taiwanese sticky rice rolls, and a grab-and-go section.
- Bakery favorites: Portuguese egg tarts, including the upgraded Napoleon version, have become an online sensation.
- Private label products: T&T offers affordable branded items like dumplings and edamame.
- Mango-inspired desserts: Sweet treats include a decadent mango cake, a hit among visitors.

What’s next for T&T?
The Lynnwood location is expected to bring the same unique shopping experience, with a wide selection of fresh produce, live seafood, in-store kitchen and bakery items and Asian beauty products.
T&T’s expansion into Washington is part of its broader plan to enter the U.S. market, with a third location planned for San Jose in fall 2025.
T&T Supermarket, founded in Vancouver, B.C., operates over 35 stores across Canada. Its Bellevue location adheres to Canadian Food Inspection Agency guidelines while tailoring its offerings to local tastes.
For now, Lynnwood residents can look forward to their own T&T experience next summer. In the meantime, the Bellevue store, located at 12620 S.E. 41st Pl., is open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
