Man shot, killed in Tacoma, WA
TACOMA, Wash. - A homicide investigation is underway in Tacoma after a man was shot and killed early Thursday morning.
The shooting happened at about 2:30 a.m. near North Cheyenne Street and North 18th Street.
Tacoma police said officers responded to the area after reports of shots fired and a man lying on the street.
When they arrived, officers found a man with multiple gunshot wounds.

Tacoma police detectives are investigating a homicide on Thursday, January 9.
Officers and medics with the Tacoma Fire Department attempted life-saving measures, but the man died from his injuries at the scene.
When FOX 13 Seattle crews arrived at the location, crime scene technicians and detectives were there.
The Tacoma Police Department said the deadly shooting is being investigated as a homicide.
It's not known what led up to the shooting, and police have not released any suspect information.
