World Vision sends critical supplies to help victims of LA wildfires

A local humanitarian aid organization is sending critical supplies to help victims impacted by the Palisades Fire burning in Los Angeles.

World Vision says a truck filled with donations of food, water, diapers, hygiene kits and toys left its warehouse in Fife on Wednesday morning and is expected to arrive at the Dream Center in Los Angeles, where volunteers will distribute supplies.

Site Manager Roberta Taylor says another truck is scheduled to pick up more donations on Thursday morning and will be sent to other partner churches in Southern California.
