Washington Sports Wrap: December 16, 2025

The Huskies are welcomed home as NCAA National Champions in Men’s Soccer with their return to UW from North Carolina after beating N.C. State for the title in a thrilling game on Monday night. UW Head Coach Jamie Clark joins the show with Sports Director Aaron Levine to give his firsthand account of the ups and downs of the wild win. The Washington State Cougars football team introduced its new coach as Kirby Moore addressed a crowd of alums, donors, and school officials in Pullman. The Prosser, Washington native becomes the 36th head coach in the programs’ history, and 5th head coach in the past six calendar years. The Sounders and Mariners have a new face on their respective rosters, while the Seahawks try to solve a double-puzzle against the Rams on Thursday. Plus, quarterback Sam Darnold and offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak talk about the need for protecting the ball and avoiding turnovers in a game that could very well decide the NFC West division.

The Seahawks are tied atop the NFC West with the L.A. Rams. The two face off this Thursday. We'll hear from Seahawks Head Coach Mike Macdonald as his team prepares for their short week. And the Washington Huskies are the National Champions. We have a look at the dramatic overtime win that earned the Dawgs their first Men's Soccer title. Washington rolls to 38-10 victory over Boise State in LA Bowl

Demond Williams Jr. threw three of his four touchdown passes in the second quarter, and Washington's defense had five interceptions as the Huskies kicked off bowl season with a 38-10 victory over Boise State in the LA Bowl.
