Snow was falling on Seattle area hills and in other parts of western Washington on Sunday morning.

6:30 p.m.: Snow showers continue through western Washington

5:15 p.m.: Multiple school districts have announced delays for Monday, Feb. 3

Some western Washington school districts will be closed or delayed on Monday due to winter weather.

4 p.m.: Temperatures plunge this week in Seattle

Temperatures will cool faster tonight compared to Saturday evening. Isolated bands of snow will continue Sunday evening through Monday. 

2:45 p.m.: Will snowy weather continue on Monday?

According to FOX 13 Meteorologist Abby Acone, there's still a possibility for on-and-off rain/snow showers in the region through at least Monday (if not Tuesday as well).

Isolated bands of snow will continue Sunday evening through Monday. The big concern overnight will be icy roads.

2 p.m.: Eastbound I-90 reopens near Snoqualmie Pass summit after collision 

Crews with the Washington State Department of Transportation cleared the roadway after a crash west of the summit. Officials are advising drivers to take it slow and follow the traction requirements. 

12:30 p.m.: Warming and day shelters are open Sunday

Pierce County officials said people experiencing homelessness or who are in need of warming up, can go to their day shelters/warming centers that are open on Sunday. 

10 a.m.: Snowy road conditions reported by WSDOT

9:15 a.m.: Where is the snow falling?

FOX 13 Seattle is tracking an incoming wet winter weather system which could bring rare Seattle snow.

Some areas of the lowlands are experiencing snowfall early Sunday morning after the mountain passes saw a steady accumulation heading into the weekend.
