1 dead after raft overturns in Sultan

Sultan, WASH -- A 38-year-old man is dead after a raft he was in overturned in the Lake Chaplin area of Sultan, WA.

Snohomish County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the scene after a raft carrying four people overturned on Saturday afternoon.

Three of the rafters were rescued from the water.

Authorities have no yet released the name of the man who died.
