16-year-old girl accused of killing other teen in Bremerton being charged as an adult

Lola Luna, a 16-year-old girl, has been arrested on murder charges for allegedly stabbing another 16-year-old girl to death in Bremerton, according to police.

Luna will be charged as an adult.

The teenaged victim, later identified as Syanna Puryear-Tucker, was stabbed outside Luna's home on Saturday, just before 1:30 p.m. She was driven to the hospital by friends with multiple stab wounds.

Puryear-Tucker succumbed to her injuries at another hospital.

She left behind an infant daughter.

Bremerton Police say they believe they know what the motive was, but they are still interviewing people in this open investigation.

Police confirm that the stabbing started after the two teens made plans to fight each other.

Luna’s attorney said a group of girls banged on Luna’s front door demanding she come outside and that’s when the situation unfolded.

Police say this kind of violence with such young people is very unusual for the Bremerton area.
