2 critically injured in box cutter stabbing
SNOHOMISH COUNTY -- One man and one woman, both believed to be in their 40s, were being transported to the hospital following a domestic violence stabbing, deputies said.
According to the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office, officers received calls of domestic violence incident Thursday afternoon in the 2100 block of Maltby Road in Bothell.
Deputies called to the scene found the man and woman critically injured, and they were transported to Harborview Regional Medical Center.
Law enforcement did not confirm how the injuries were sustained, but did say the man had a box cutter. The relationship between the man and the woman is unknown at this time.
Major crime unit detectives are in route.
