2 dead after pickup truck is found in Little Naches River
NACHES, Wash. -- A man and woman were killed after their pickup truck left the road and turned over in the Little Naches River near Mount Rainier, the Washington State Patrol said Sunday.
William Retterer Jr., 44, and Sherri Retterer, 43, of Burbank, Wash., were found dead late Saturday night.
The State Patrol said their pickup truck left the Little Naches Road about a mile and a half north of State Route 410 and turned over in the river.
The woman was found inside the vehicle and the man's body was found about a mile and a half downstream.
The cause of the accident was not immediately known, the State Patrol said.
