2 hikers stranded in deep snow west of Snoqualmie Pass rescued

SEATTLE -- King County search and rescue teams on Tuesday found two hikers who were stranded in deep snow west of Snoqualmie Pass and led them to safety.


The King County Sheriff's Office said a woman and man called around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, saying they were stuck in about six feet of snow near Denny Creek off Interstate 90.  Rescue teams found the couple in the afternoon.
