3-year-old boy hit by passing car's mirror, taken to hospital in stable condition

SEATTLE -- A 3-year-old was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries after he was struck in the head by a vehicle's mirror Tuesday afternoon in the International District.

The Fire Department said he was transported from 12th Avenue South and South King Street to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.

According to the Seattle Police Department, the child was hit around 12:45 p.m.



Traffic investigators are on the scene. The driver of the car was cooperating with investigators, police said.
