6th arrest made in drug-deal killing of 19-year-old Olympia man
OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — Thurston County sheriff's detectives have made another arrest in the case of a drug sale that went bad and resulted in the death of a 19-year-old man.
Sgt. Tim Rudloff says detectives arrested Devion Hammond late Monday on murder and rendering criminal assistance charges.
Hammond's arrest was the sixth made in the case.
Officials say Alex Thomas-Anderson of Olympia was fatally shot across the street from Chambers Prairie Elementary School on Oct. 21 after an illegal marijuana sale went wrong.
