Dispatch: 9-1-1, what are you reporting?
Caller: Yes, I have two gentlemen, African-American, on (State, 4th ?), at 3215 Harrison at Safeway. And tried to, uh, he stole a beer earlier and he tried to do it again. He threw the beer at me and hit my hand.
Dispatch: OK, hold on one second here. At the Safeway at 3215 Harrison Avenue?
Caller: Yeah. Yeah, he’s at the fuel station right now. He’s running. But they’re both on skateboards.
Dispatch: OK, so he stole a beer, and he threw it at you?
Caller: He threw a case of beer at me—glass beer. So he’s down probably on Harrison now going-, I have no idea, he went down, but his friend’s still in the parking lot here, slowly walking, but they’re together.
Dispatch: OK, so they’re currently at the fuel station?
Caller: Yeah, the one, he had the white shirt on. Both-
Dispatch: One second, one second, one moment.
Caller: OK.
Dispatch: OK, what is the first male, what race is he? African-American?
Caller: Yeah, they’re both African-American.
Dispatch: OK, and about, how tall is the first one?
Caller: Uh, I would say they’re like 5’11”. They’re both 5’11”.
Dispatch: OK, is he heavy, medium, thin?
Caller: Thin.
Dispatch: OK, and you said he’s wearing a baseball cap?
Caller: Yes, and I believe he has a tattoo on his neck.
Dispatch: OK, can you see any other clothes that he’s wearing?
Caller: No, they’re already past the fuel station. I have no idea where they’re at now.
Dispatch: OK.
Caller: They’re two males with, skateboarding now; two African-American males.
Dispatch: Alright, are you injured at all, ma’am?
Caller: Uh, my hand hurts, but, but, I mean, I just blocked the case
Dispatch: Do you need medical attention, at all
Caller: No. They’re still by the gas station, because they just called me a name, so
Dispatch: OK.
Caller: They’re right at the gas station somewhere in this area, because I can hear them talking. I would say they’re on Harrison.
Dispatch: OK.
Caller: Sounds like maybe going down Cooper Point over by Rite Aid.
Dispatch: OK, one moment.
Caller: I can still hear them talking
Dispatch: You can still hear them talking?
Caller: Yes.
Dispatch: So, just to clarify. Did you confront them aft-, did you confront them after the theft, and then that’s when they threw it at you?
Caller: …it’s on the camera. It’s…[distorted, unable to discern]… at the door.
Dispatch: OK.
Caller: And that’s when… .
Dispatch: Alright. What is your last name, ma’am?
Caller: Um,
Dispatch: OK, and your first name?

Caller: Yes

Dispatch: Alright, , we’ve advised the officers to contact you. Uh, and do you still see the subjects or have they, are they out of sight?
Caller: They’re out of sight. I can just hear them yelling at me and stuff, so they-
Dispatch: Are they still yelling at you?
Caller: No, not now, but they’re in this area still. I just don’t see them. But they’re right on the other side-
Dispatch: Alright, , I’m going to stay on the line with you just until somebody arrives.
Caller: OK
Dispatch: If you see anything, go ahead and update me. I’m just going to stay on the line with you. Do you still hear them?
Caller: No, not any more
Dispatch: I’ll still stay on the line with you. Uh, , where are you standing at for the officer to meet you?
Caller: I’m right in the front of the store.
Dispatch: You’re in the front of the store?
Caller: Yeah.

Caller: No.
