Afternoon sun changes to rain next week
For the rest of the weekend, we are back to cloudy mornings and evenings, but afternoon sunshine. Expect highs to be in the low 70s tomorrow and Monday.
By Tuesday, our weather pattern shifts from high pressure to a series of minor disturbances. This will give us scattered showers Tuesday and Wednesday with highs dropping into the low and mid- 60s.
The return of rain won’t last long, however as a strong high builds right back into Washington. This round of ridging will get stronger throughout the weekend, bumping temperatures up heading into Father’s Day. As of right now, models are trending toward dry skies and highs back in the low 70s by Friday!
By the way, only 13 days until the official start to summer…
